Mom’s Florals

I painted this still life in February of 2021. If you were in Texas during that time, you’ll remember that we had a historical and quite devasting freeze. Once I lost power at my house, I packed up my cats along with my things and moved into my mother’s house one town over. I spent my evenings painting and drawing and having food prepared for me, what a treat! I’d stay on for three weeks and only return home after the 15 busted pipes under my home were repaired.

This still life represents a small corner in my mother’s dining area.
